The Solution

Skyline Contracting used a complete set of SowaanERP modules in order to automate and streamline day-to-day operations.

Financial Accounting

A centralized system whereby multi-currency transactions, cost centers, paying vendors, receipt, full project-wise financial reporting can be done. Fiscal accuracy had been enhanced by automated entries of journals and live project costing.

Project and Cost Control: Tracking

Live budget and actual expenditure, daily progress report, and activity-based material requisition to implement improved visibility and control of cost.

Procurement Controls

RFQs – Automated RFQ, Supplier comparison, purchase order, stock transfer and project based material tracking at all sites. Delays and errors in procurement were minimized by streamlining the workflow.

Human Resources & Payroll

Complete automation of employee files, time keeping, payroll processing, vacation, loans and Self service modules. Salary distribution and OT monitoring were project-based, so there was no error.

Fixed Asset Management

Full register of assets including auto-depreciation associated with finance.

Fleet Management

Fleet monitoring in real time was enhanced by a special Fleet App, which increased coordination and performance at various project sites.

Logistics Management

An App of Logistics facilitated the supply chain management whereby materials, vehicles and other logistical elements could be tracked.

Document Management System (DMS)

The storage of tenders, contracts, invoices, and work orders as well as version control of maximum transparency.

Attendance Equipment Fitting

Combination with ZKTeco biometric equipment enabled automatic attendance monitoring, which decreased the errors and enhanced the workforce control.

Training and Support

All modules were well trained, which made the adoption and effective use of SowaanERP easy.

Implementation and Tracking

Sowaan Arabia team collaborated with Skyline Contracting, involving gathering of requirements, configuration, testing and go live. To facilitate a smooth transition to the new ERP environment, performance of the system, adoption by the users and project progress were monitored.
